Alex had a dream about flying and Timeblazers, Jen and Sam, explain that people have been dreaming about flying for thousands of years. First they go back to ancient Greece and explain the myth of Icarus and Daedelus. Then they learn that the Chinese were the first to discover and utilize kites. Next, during the Renaissance, they discover that Leonardo da Vinci was fascinated by flight and drew tons of sketches of flying machines, the most famous being his Ornithopter. In the 1870s the Wright brothers moved to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina to test their flying machine designs, and on December 17th, 1903, Orville Wright flew the very first airplane.
