Numbers explores how numbers are used in our lives to count, identify, and name. The program shows how numbers are used as representative symbols, and also illustrates some of the different and creative ways we use numbers to convey information in our everyday lives, such as through telephones, clocks, and addresses. Part of "Math in Our Lives," which is an innovative nine-part series using practical examples and realistic models to provide students with a sensible and accessible context for mathematical concepts.
