This film provides an overview of the Caribbean and teaches students about the physical geography of Dominica and Trinidad. Local children travel from Dominica’s southernmost point to the east coast. Along the way, they stop in Roseau, the island’s capital, and Belles, a mountain village. In Trinidad, we learn about wildlife diversity and a Point-a-Pierre wetland conservation program protecting the Scarlet Ibis, Trinidad’s national bird. A BBC Production.
