Spiky Tops introduces lower case letters that have a spike at the top. Gom reads about Bartleby, who is at a rock concert to see his favorite band, "The Scribbles." He gets up on stage to entertain the crowd when he finds himself crowd surfing over the interesting spiky hairstyles of the other concert goers. The writing practice includes: reinforcement for measuring margins and spacing using the index finger, the letter "r," the letter "s," and capital letters "R," "B," and "S." The sentence is introduced: "Bears snore."
