The winter season is on Bartleby's mind when he writes to Gom. He tells how he made it up the side of a beautiful snowy mountain when he finds a small wooden bench where he could rest. When he sits down, he realizes that the bench, which is actually a sled, is not very well made because it takes him to the bottom of the hill. The slant of the mountain is like the slant in the letters in this program. Letters: v, w, x, y (letters with diagonal starts).
