Bartleby writes to Gom about his backpacking trip where he finds a wonderful campsite with a beautiful view. He decides to build a fire with sticks for the fire and stones to contain it. The sticks and stones remind him of the shapes used to make some letters, so he sings a song about them. Finally, he shares his concern for getting a good night's sleep in his tent.
