Yes it's true, lovers of Japanese carp fish, known as koi, are paying big money to rent space in special hotels in Singapore to ensure they're comfortable. Businessman Tony Lee finds his koi more entertaining than a night out on the town. He spends nearly 5,000 Singapore dollars a month, about 3,500 dollars US, on food and rent for the 100 koi he owns.
