In this era of sophisticated technology and intense archaeological research it's hard to believe that the earth can still hide lost civilizations. But it does and the thrill of discovery was recently given to a team of hardworking us and Peruvian explorers deep in Peru's Amazon jungle. Following up on years of investigation about a possible lost metropolis in the region, it took a month of hard trekking in Peru's northern rain forest to reach the location.
