The Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and is the only living organism that can be seen from space. A world heritage listed area, the reef stretches more than two thousand kilometers along the coast of far north eastern Australia. Made up of billions of tiny organisms, almost all of the world's four-hundred known types of coral, and one-thousand five hundred species of fish live there.
