The sun is revealed from behind the scudding clouds and bathes the lichen covered stones. They were dragged here from the mountains of Wales and the marks of the ancient stone cutters are clearly seen especially on some that have fallen to a new position. This is Stonehenge one of the most recognizable sites of the ancient world.
