Betty tries to make friends with the new girl at school, Regeena, but finds herself having to compete with Penelope for her time. Pontifidora locates the Jewel of Zaza, giving her the power to transform any girl into an Amazonian Warrior. Pontifidora creates herself an army, which includes a kidnapped Megan and Sarah. Sparky ends up getting hit by the jewel's blast, turning into a feminine 'Sparkarella'. He winds up making friends with Regeena himself, while Betty, X-5 and Admiral DeGill are left to fight Pontifidora and her Amazon army. Betty destroys the jewel, returning Pontifidora's army back to normal, including Sparky.
