This group of five “Creating a Career” programs features seven professionals with careers in the media arts—animation, gaming, photography, TV, film industry, documentary filmmaking, and broadcast engineering. Designed for middle and high school students, the programs feature discussions hosted by two award-winning educators—an arts educator and a career education professional—who talk with the media arts professionals about their education and career preparation, what they do on the job, a typical day, how they use technology in their work, and career development advice for students. In this program, professionals describe education and life experiences that contributed to their success, including hobbies, internships and university studies.
