Kara and Dalmar explain the science behind freezing temperatures. Add milk, sugar, and vanilla to a small bag. Then put the small bag in a large bag, which is itself filled with ice and salt. Adding salt to the ice lowers the freezing temperature, so the ice cream forms more quickly.
