A curriculum friendly resource that is aligned to National Science Standards presents a wide range of scientific topics to elementary and middle school students. In the final eight episodes, The Magellan Adventures, the crew and a robot named I-O board the Magellan, a galactic space cruiser, traveling into space and beyond in search of science puzzles. Look! Up there! In outer space! Can it be? Is the Magellan's lost RTSC satellite finally within grasp? Will the Professor reveal what planet he's really from? All these questions will be answered and more! For now, the Magellan crew has just one more hurdle to clear...their brains! The Professor needs to understand the most important human organ of all, the human brain. RealTime Science Connections, will carefully enter the cranium to discover the functions of the cerebrum, cerebellum and the brain stem.
