Diogenes (4 BC) û a Greek philosopher and one of the founders of Cynic philosophy. This philosopher became a legend yet in his life. The rumors transformed him into a prophet, and then into a swindler; sometimes into a hero of anecdotes and a city madman. He did not create any integral teaching, but his whole life was a sample of the service to philosophy.
