Chayenne lives near the beach. She loves to surf. But where she lives, waves can also be dangerous. In 1953, a big flood washed away large parts of the province of Zeeland. Big dams were built to ensure it would never happen again. So waves are dangerous, but also a lot of fun! Chayenne wants to find out what a wave is. She makes a wave in a bottle, a wave from marbles, one from candy, and she lets candles move like a wave. All to prepare her for her final experiment: making the most beautiful wave she can imagine!
