Jefferson lives in the Atacama desert in Chile. Astronomers from all over the world visit his village. It is a good place to look at the stars because there are few clouds and almost no light pollution. Jefferson wants to make his own telescope and needs to know more about lenses. He makes a lens from water and one from ice. He builds a projector for his smartphone. He also visits ALMA, a radio telescope at 5000 meters altitude. All to find out the following question: how can he see as far away as possible?
