At the end of this activity, students should be able to: - describe the work parameters of an electrical appliance, - calculate the energy absorbed by a given device when its power and working time are given, and estimate the cost of the energy, - read and interpret the data displayed by an electricity meter, - determine the power of a device given the readings of the electricity meter, - interpret the information on the energy consumption label of a given device.
