This lesson focuses on angle measures in triangles, quadrilaterals, and other polygons. Students begin by applying the sum of the angle measures in a triangle and in a quadrilateral to finding missing angle measures. They then apply the property that the largest angle lies opposite the largest side to find angle measures in triangles. Students also apply property about equilateral and right triangles as well as parallelograms and trapezoids to find missing angle measures. The lessons concludes with students finding the sum of the interior angle measures for various polygons.
