At the end of this activity, students should be able to: - explain how to describe the position of a body and define a frame of reference. - give definitions for path of motion, distance, and displacement. - calculate speed and velocity, and determine the differences and similarities between the concepts - give examples of units of speed; note this differs form above (speed). - describe average and instantaneous velocities and give examples of each. - graphically determine the vector of resultant velocity.
