Cuyahoga Valley National Park is Ohio’s ONLY National Park! An oasis in the middle of an urban area with miles of hiking & biking trails along the Ohio & Erie canal, fantastic geologic formations of ledges & waterfalls, beaver marshes, a scenic railroad, sustainable farms & visitors centers to explain historic canal locks & boat building. Other National Park Service units featured in this program include : Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historic Park, First Ladies National Historic Site, two National Historic Sites honoring former presidents James A. Garfield and William Howard Taft, Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial.
