In this episode of Whatever! The Science of Teens, host Steve Cannane meets three very different young Aussies who all love to take risks although in their own unique ways. The latest science is showing us that this risk-taking is not only normal, it's a crucial part of growing up. However it's not without its dangers; adolescence is the period in which we take the most risks, but it's also when our brains are particularly vulnerable. Steve Cannane gets unique access to these teens and their lives, and they help us understand the science behind the risk-taking by being "lab rats" in our Whatever! experiments.
