Gon has always aspired to follow in his father's footsteps and become a Hunter. Against his Aunt Mito's wishes, he sets out to take the qualification exam. Before they can take the exam, Gon and the other applicants must first survive a rocky sea voyage, prove their worth by passing a number of tests, and locate the Exam Hall.
