Given a second chance at life, or at least at being undead, Franklin "Freekin" Ripp returns to high school accompanied by two "pet" monsters from the Underworld, Pretty and Scary, hoping to join the football team, to get his band going, and to kiss his girlfriend--none of which is easy for one whose body has been rotting in the grave all summer.
