When thirty-two American soldiers vanish without a trace, the Shield is dropped into war-torn Bialya to rescue them. But someone has brainwashed these men into mindless killers, and the threat of friendly fire is a certainty. As the combat zone heats up, the power-mad marine Magog crashes the operation to end the fighting his way. Can the Shield seize control of the situation and free his boys before the entire mission goes belly up?
