Creating an authentic task in which students attend Montreal Francofolies, go to a restaurant and order their meal in French. They are then faced with a problem and complain to the manager. The situation can include choosing the programmes they want to attend at the Francofolie, navigating Montreal to find the restaurant, dining, and encountering/solving a problem with their meal.
