Olivia is delighted when her family adopts a beautiful little kitten. She can't wait to show Smokey off to all her friends, and neither can her older brother, Ben. When Ben invites his friend Rob over to their house, Olivia is worried that the rowdy boys will upset Smokey. Her fears come true when later that evening, Smokey is nowhere to be found.
