This book is written to encourage everyone, especially young children within culturally diverse communities to embrace and love their hair and culture. The message is: Love who you are and everything about you! The different texture and styles for Black hair are presented in repetitive sentences, for example curly, dreads, extensions, straightened, long or short, twists and straight.
