The National Aeronautics and Space Administration was created in 1958. During its first 10 years, it launched numerous satellites and exploratory probes into space to view the stars, moon, and Mars. NASA’s technological advancements helped improve weather tracking and broadcast communication capabilities on Earth. The agency’s goal has always been to send a man to the moon and by the end of the 1960s it was getting closer to achieving it.
