With the fall of war-torn Germany, Soviet and US intelligence become locked in a race to capture Wernher von Braun, the Nazi scientist behind the V-2 rocket. His dream is to travel beyond the moon, but he has a rival, released from Stalin's Gulag, and charged with winning at any cost.
