The teachings–ways of knowing–of our Kwakwaka’wakw (kwok-wok-ya-wokw) noble ancestors are ancient beliefs and values. We become stronger as we learn and practise our culture. What is one thing that you practise that makes you a stronger person? Part of the Strong Stories series, which focuses on different First Nation territories from across Canada and the United States. These stories reflect the belief that our stories are the roots of our people, our lands and our cultures. It is from our stories that we grow and become strong and proud.
