Nora is a young woman struggling with marriage, social convention, feminist impulses, and family and social duty. She's at odds with her husband Torvald, who dominates both their relationship and his environment. Nora questions the power structure, challenges her lot, and ultimately frees herself from the "doll's house" in which she was imprisoned.
