100 years ago Toronto experienced one its largest riots in history and one many have never heard of. As many as 50,000 people took to the streets over three days, destroying more than a dozen Greek-owned businesses. It started with a minor altercation at a Greek-owned restaurant in the Yonge and College area, but as Ontario Hub field producer Jeyan Jeganathan explains, resentment towards Greek immigrants was building well before that.
