Ontario's labour market is increasingly demanding high skill levels in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, known as STEM. While these jobs are available, they are still largely underrepresented by women. TD Economics has recently released a report that not only supports this, but points out that even when women are hired they are clustered at the lower wage end of the STEM fields. The Agenda discusses this dilemma with economist Beata Caranci, author of the report, "Women and Stem: Bridging the Divide."
