In this live-action program viewers will learn that controls and variables are the basis for applying the scientific method in a lab experiment. Students will come to understand that in an experiment, variables change, while the other factors are kept constant to isolate the variables from other effects. They will discover that the concepts of controls, independent variables, and dependent variables are the foundation of an experiment and by understanding these concepts, students will design better experiments with more clear-cut results and conclusions.
