As citizens of the United States it’s important to understand the process for electing our presidents. This program guides students through the entire process. Students will learn what the qualifications are to become president and the overall election process. Through use of live-action high definition footage, viewers will come to understand the importance of state caucuses and primaries and the function they serve in presidential elections. With the use of animation and graphics, the video explains, in simple terms, how the Electoral College works. The program also discusses the role of political parties and the Two Party System.
