Ocean pollution takes many forms. In fact, most pollution originates, not in the oceans, but on dry land. The enormity of ocean pollution may be daunting, but efforts are already being made to address the problem. The fight against ocean pollution has begun, but more work needs to be done and awareness raised of the dangers that face Earth's vital seas.
