Nicknamed "The Garden of Rarities," the Ojibway Prairie Complex is a five-park system in Windsor home to some of the province's rarest species. The park system is made up of tallgrass prairie, an endangered ecosystem type that used to cover 23 per cent of North America. Less than half a per cent of the original tallgrass prairie remains and the border city is home to one of the largest areas.
