This resource supports elementary students and educators with learning about Sikh culture, history, and religion. The resources vary from picture books to novels to non-fiction texts. Included is an Ontario Library Association Project with 13 lessons using some of the resources in the kit. Furthermore, the kit includes Sikh characters in fiction books that celebrate inclusion and diversity within the context of the book. Lastly, the kit celebrates Canadian-Sikh Heritage and contributions with numerous Canadian-Sikh authors and resources.
