According to a 2020, 78 percent of American young voters of color took one or more of the following activist actions in 2020: signing a petition, posting or sharing information about racial issues on social media, and attending protest. Youth get involved in activism because they believe they can truly make a different and help rid the United States of systematic racism, racism that is entrenched in organizations due to years of overt racism.
