Canadians produce over three million tonnes of plastic waste a year and only recycle about nine percent of that. The rest ends up in landfills, or worse, on our beaches and in our waterways, threatening marine and wildlife. Now, a clean up campaign on British Columbia's coastline is tackling plastic debris. Meanwhile, an Ontario woman is taking on non recyclable black plastic.
