Alma really wants to have a sleepover in her room with her dog, Chacho, but when the mischievous pup hides Abuelo's lucky sock on the day of a big baseball game, Alma must find it before Chacho is sent to the doghouse! Then, after Rafia wins the neighborhood spelling bee, Alma is chosen as her alternate for the city-wide competition. Alma learns why being an alternate is important!
