The Nanticoke coal-fired power plant once generated enough power to supply millions of homes. It was shut down in 2013 and has a bright future as a solar farm. We look at plans for the future at Nanticoke, as well as a distributed solar project in Guelph, to get an idea of how the grid is changing.
