Geographically and culturally, the Heiltsuk Nation lies at the centre of the Northwest Coast. The seven original Heiltsuk-speaking tribes inhabited the islands and fiords between Rivers Inlet and Milbanke Sound. Traditionally, Heiltsuk ceremonialists, canoe makers, and artists are greatly influential.
