Homelessness is a growing problem in Canada. As many as 235,000 experience homelessness in this country every year. Tent encampments are appearing in cities and towns, large and small. Most advocates for the homeless agree that reducing homelessness is about providing long term affordable housing. Now, some communities are finding ingenious ways to do just that.
