"Communities and Workers" takes students on a journey through their own neighborhoods. From firemen to dedicated postal workers, and from skilled mechanics to trusted bankers, this program sheds light on the crucial roles that community workers play. Students will gain insight into why people in their community work and how these roles provide the essential products and services that community members rely on. Basic economic concepts are introduced through relatable daily activities.
