Electric cars are considered to be cleaner than gasoline-operated cars because they reduce greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change. But those batteries need valuable minerals to make them run. Mining for those minerals is expensive and highly energy consuming. So is there a way to make a cleaner, greener battery?
