So begins Mila’s quest. She enlists the help of her friend Roxy the red fox, who takes her across the river into the realm of the spirits. Many challenges await her as she learns the cultural values of compassion, courage and love. Great Spirit himself becomes her guide, taking on several guises from shrew to hummingbird to teach Mila that empowerment can be found in the smallest things.
