As you scroll through your feeds, you've probably noticed there is so much information on the internet. Some posts are shocking or confusing. Some are scary or sad. Some might seem too good to be true. It can be hard to know what to believe.  Some things we see may be misinformation: information shared by people who don't realize it's not true. There's also disinformation: when false information is created on purpose to trick people. What types of misinformation might we see online? And why is it out there?
