Born in 1970, Ketanji Brown Jackson, raised in Miami, developed an early interest in law. Despite discouragements, she graduated from Harvard Law School with honors. She served on the U.S. District Court in 2013, the U.S. Court of Appeals in 2021, and made history as the first Black woman confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2022.
